Daraa - SMART

The Syrian government reactivates the mobile phone network in western Daraa, to facilitate the work of its employees and institutes in the governorate, Southern Syria.

On Tuesday, local sources told SMART that the Syrian government is working to reactivate the network of the mobile phone "Syriatel" to serve its employees and facilitate their work, amid expectations to activate the Syrian government court and the rest of its service institutions starting next Thursday.

The sources explained that the Syrian government began to reactivate the medium communication towers installed in high places or above residential buildings in the cities and towns of Nawa, Mzeirib, Jassim, Tal Shahab, Hara, Inkhil, and Tafs, providing them with automatic generators and large batteries.

The sources added that the initial experience of the tower gave positive results, but the Syrian government employees said that the restoration of the network without interruption requires three days.

In recent weeks, the Syrian government forces have begun the "settlement" process in cities and towns where the Free Syrian Army and Russia reached ceasefire agreements in Daraa.
