On Friday, the Kurdish Autonomous Administration arrested four drug dealers in the village of al-Garniya, west of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.

A source from the Asayish forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration told SMART that they arrested the four dealers in the village of al-Garniya, west of the city of al-Tabaqa. The dealers were carrying of captagon drugs and weed.

Local sources told SMART that earlier, the Free Syrian Army arrested these drug dealers when it was controlling the area and then the al-Nusra Front. Also, the Asayish forces arrested and imprisoned them in the city of Ain Issa for four months and released them after they paid $12,000.

In May, the Asayish forces arrested people working in the narcotics trade near the town of Mansoura, west of al-Raqqa.
