On Sunday, the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) arrested 13 people in Northern Idlib, Northern Syria, accusing them of coordinating with the Syrian government.

Local activists reported that the HTS stormed the town of Maarrat Misrin, created checkpoints in streets, and arrested three people for coordinating with the Syrian government and promoting reconciliations.

The HTS also stormed the town of Azmarin and arrested 10 people on the same accusations. The arrested people included internally displaced people, according to the activists.

The HTS and Free Syrian Army factions launched arrest campaign against the people who promote reconciliations with the Syrian government. Recently, the Syrian government threatened to launch a military campaign to take the Idlib governorate by force. Idlib is currently outside Syrian government control.
