The report added that 194 prisoners, including two children, were tortured to death in the Syrian government's prisons. Two prisoners died in prisons run by unknown groups, a woman was tortured to death in an Islamic State prison, and a prisoner was tortured to death in a prison belonging to the Kurdish Autonomous Administration.

The report noted that most of the victims were members of medical, educational, and media staff as well as 13 kin-related prisoners.
