On Tuesday, a Syrian Human Rights Network (SHRN) report documented the killings of a doctor and a paramedic as well as the bombing of seven medical clinics in Syria in August 2018.

The report added that the Syrian government forces tortured a doctor and paramedic to death in August. The report noted that the Syrian government warplanes bombed two medical facilities, including the central hospital in the city of Maarrat al-Nu’man in Idlib, Northern Syria.

The report added that the International Coalition warplanes bombed the perimeter of the al-Bu-Badran dispensary in the town of al-Susa controlled by the Islamic State, east of Deir ez-Zor, Eastern Syria.

The report noted that “other sides” attacked three medical clinics and an ambulance in August. In one of the attacks, a bomb exploded near a hospital in the city of Sarmin in Idlib.

The SHRN documented the killings of 89 volunteers of medical staffs, the Civil Defense, and the Syrian Red Crescent on the hands of major active sides in Syria since the start of 2018 until early September. The SHRN added that the Syrian government forces killed 54 volunteers of medical staffs.

In July 2017, the SHRN documented 453 assaults against critical civil centers in Syria during the first half of 2018. The SHRN added that Russian troops and the Syrian government forces conducted 371 attacks.
