Asayish forces siege meeting for Yekiti Party and detain two members

On Friday, the Asayish forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration sieged a meeting for the Yekiti Party and detained two members in the town of Maabdah in al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria.  

The Yekiti Party is a Kurdish party founded in 2012 that aims to establish a federal regime in Syria.

A media officer for the Yekiti Party, who preferred to stay anonymous, said that members from the Yekiti Party held the party's monthly meeting in the house of Farhan Mare'e, one of the party's leaders, as the Asayish forces seized the house and detained Saleh Mer'e and Araft Abdo, two members of the party.      

The source added that the Asayish forces continue to siege the house were the members held their meeting.

The Kurdish Autonomous Administration and its most important party, the Kurdish Democratic Union Party, executed several storms and arrest campaigns against members of political parties and media activists opposing to the Kurdish Autonomous Administration policy.
