Turkey withdraws military and security officials from Afrin, Aleppo

On Tuesday, the Turkish authorities withdrew dozens of officers and security officials from the Afrin area,43 kilometers, northwest of Aleppo, Northern Syria.

An official from the Free Police reported to the Aleppo Gate (Bawaba), which belongs to the SMART media institution, that Turkey withdrew 40 officials and officers, including a Major General called Doran. The official added that the withdrawn officials were in charge of managing the Afrin area in the security and military fields.

The official added that the withdrawn officials belong to Turkish intelligence services, police and army deployed to the Afrin area. The official added that the withdrawn officials were moved to the Turkish Hatay state.

The official added that Turkey would assign alternative officials and officers.  

On Monday, Turkey withdrew the officers as the military police of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) arrested Turkish officers in a brothel in the city of Afrin, 

Amnesty International, activists and pro-Kurdish Autonomous Administration people accuse FSA fighters and commanders of committing violations against civilians in the areas controlled by the FSA in Eastern and Northern Aleppo.
