People from the city of Dail in Daraa, Southern Syria found the dead body of a former Free Police commander hours after the Syrian government forces detained him.

Local sources reported that the people found the body of Ghanem Jamous, former revolutionary police station commander showing marks of torturing, near a gas station in the city.

The sources added that the Syrian government Air force intelligence Directorate detained Jamous in an unknown place. The sources said that the people found the body hours after his detention.       

On Oct. 23, 2018, the Syrian government forces detained former Free Syrian Army commanders in the governorate of Daraa for several criminal accusations.

Earlier, the opposition factions operating in Daraa and Russia concluded agreements that included handing over weapons, a ceasefire, and evacuating those who refuse to reconcile to Northern Syria. The agreement also included guarantees for the people who wish to stay in Daraa that the Syrian government forces would not prosecute them.
