On Saturday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented the killing of 231 civilians in Syria in November 2018. The SNHR said that most of the civilians were killed due to United States-led International Coalition bombings against the Islamic State (IS) and shelling by the Syrian government forces and allied Iranian militias.

The SNHR is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization, founded in June 2011, that monitors the Syrian Civil War. It is committed to all international criteria and declarations. The SNHR aims to document human rights violations in Syria and defend Syrian human rights in front of international forums and bodies.

The SNHR stated in a report published on it official website that the killed civilians included 89 children and 31 women, adding that the US-led International Coalition bombings on IS-controlled areas killed 79 civilians, including 42 children and 17 women.

The report said that the Syrian government forces and their allied militias killed 72 civilians, including 22 children and six women, while the IS and the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham killed 20 civilians, including nine children and four women.

The SNHR also said that the forces of the Autonomous Administration killed 11 civilians, while the Free Syrian Army and Islamist factions killed two civilians. The SNHR added that unknown armed parties killed 47 civilians, including 13 children and four women.

On Nov. 26, 2018, the SNHR published a report documenting the killing of 25 thousand women in Syria since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution in March 2011.

The SNHR documented violations by several parties against Syrians and foreigners in Syria, such as arbitrary detentions and field executions.
