Duma, Syria, Mar. 13, 2018. The Syrian Red Crescent evacuates patients from the city of Duma in Eastern Ghouta, Southern Syria, to Damascus’ hospitals, as part of an agreement between Russia and the Jaysh al-Islam. The number of patients who came out is 35 in addition to their companions.
This is the first evacuation of patients since the beginning of the Syrian government’s campaign to gain control over of the region in mid-February, killing and wounding thousands of civilians.
