Khan Sheikhun, Syria, Apr. 8, 2018. Civil Defense volunteers protest in the city of Khan Sheikhun in Idlib, Northern Syria. They condemned the chemical massacre committed by the Syrian government forces in the besieged city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta. The massacre killed and wounded hundreds of civilians. Most local and international bodies condemned the massacre. The United States President Donald Trump has promised to hold President Bashar al-Assad accountable for the chemical massacre in Douma. Trump called al-Assad an animal and vowed that Assad will pay a "big price" for his actions.
