Women raise a banner condemning the international silence on the chemical massacre committed by Syrian government forces in the city of Douma Eastern Damascus, during a protest at the Education Faculty of Aleppo University in the city of Maarrat al-Nu'man in Idlib, Northern Syria. The Syrian government forces committed a toxic gas massacre in the city of Douma, killing and wounding hundreds of civilians. Most local and international bodies condemned the massacre. The United States President Donald Trump has promised to hold the Syrian government President Bashar al-Assad accountable for the massacre. Trump called al-Assad an "animal" and vowed that Assad will pay a "big price" for his actions.
