The Jaysh al-Ahrar and the Islamic State clashed on Monday, injuring a child during the shooting in the town of Jobas, Southeastern Idlib, Northern Syria. The child was transported to hospital in the city of Saraqib. The child was injured after the Jaysh al-Ahrar stormed an ISIS headquarter in the town, killing one ISIS fighter and detaining another. In recent weeks, car bombs have become increasingly common in the Idlib governorate, targeting commanders and fighters of the Free Syrian Army and Islamist battalions. The explosions killed dozens of fighters and civilians; however, the perpetrators remain unknown.
