Azaz, Syria, June 26, 2018. Youths raise the flag of the Syrian revolution and signs saying, "Daraa revolutionaries, you write history with blood," "Russia is a pimp," and "Daraa will not be the last area, if you do not move," during a protest in the city of Azaz in Aleppo, Northern Syria, to express solidarity with the Daraa governorate in Southern Syria. Last week, the loyalist forces launched a military campaign in Eastern Daraa and Western as-Suwayda amidst intense airstrikes and artillery and rocket shelling. The bombings have killed and injured dozens of civilians so far, including women and children. The bombings destroyed 40 percent of the city of al-Hirak and 60 percent of the town of al-Maliha al-Sharqiya and displaced tens of thousands of civilians.
