Maarrat al-Nu'man, Syria, July 27, 2018. A demonstrator carries a sign that reads, "We know that our revolution is long. Whoever became tired or despaired must hold his tongue and let the free walk their track towards freedom," during a demonstration in the village of Altah in the Maarrat al-Nu'man area, Northern Idlib, Northern Syria. About 200 people participated in the demonstration, demanding the overthrow of the Syrian government and the release of the detainees in the Syrian government's prisons. The demonstrators raised the flag of the Syrian revolution and banners that confirmed the continuation of the revolution and accused the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces of dealing with the Syrian government. Earlier, several demonstrations arose in the Idlib governorate to revive the revolutionary spirit and demand the release of detainees, the last of which was organized by detainees' relatives in Idlib city. The demonstrators condemned that the fact their sons, who have been detained for seven years, were not released according to the agreement reached by the opposition group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Iran recently.
