Idlib, Syria, Aug. 3, 2018. People raise the Syrian revolution flag and banners reading, "We will never give up," "We want the detainees alive," "No to rehabilitate the Assad gang," and "Judging the Assad gang first," in a protest in the village of Has of the Maarrat al-Nu'man area, south of Idlib, Northern Syria. The people protest in solidarity with the families of detainees who tortured to death in the Syrian government's prisons. About 30 people participated in the protest, demanding the Syrian government to reveal the fate of the remaining detainees and release them. The Syrian government revealed hundreds of prisoners’ fate in late July 2018. The Syrian government sent lists of dead prisoners to the government Civil Registry Directorates. In other cases, the Syrian government’ Military Police would contact the prisoners’ families and tell them to receive the dead prisoners’ documents.
