Al-Raqqa, Syria, Aug. 12, 2018. A body of an unknown person was pulled out from the rubble of destroyed houses in the al-Badou neighborhood in the center of the city of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.
Several bodies are still under rubble in the neighborhood, where the al-Raqqa local council pulls them out. These have been stuck under the rubble since the International Coalition forces bombed the city.
The Coalition recently admitted that it killed 1,059 civilians by its strikes on Syria and Iraq from August 2014 until the end of June 2018. Mass graves for people killed by the Islamic State were also discovered.
