Aleppo, Syria, Nov. 17, 2018. The skeleton of a Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighter can be seen. The al-Sham Legion of the FSA retrieved the fighter's body from under the rubble of a destroyed building. An Islamic State (IS) car bomb killed the fighter three years ago in the village of Hiwar Killis, 52 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria. The al-Sham Legion was unable to retrieve a second body, which remains unidentified. In late April 2016, the FSA gained control of Hiwar Killis after battles with the IS.
