Aleppo, Syria, Jan. 24, 2019. Civilians and militants stand in front of destroyed shops from a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded near the al-Bab city center square in eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria. The explosion killed three civilians, including a child, and injured seven others, including three women. Northern and eastern Aleppo have been home to frequent blasts that killed and injured dozens of civilians and Free Syrian Army fighters recently. Police forces and local councils in the area started to take precautionary measures to protect the civilians, as activists accused the Islamic State and the Syrian Democratic Forces of standing behind the explosions.
