The Civil Defense confirms that 21 civilians were injured, most of them children and women, as a result of the chlorine bombardment on the city of Duma, 14 km east of the Syrian capital Damascus.
The civil defense said in their statement to SMART that the bombing targeted the residential neighborhoods of the city with shells, not specified type, loaded with gas. Its teams relieved the injured to medical centers and evacuated families from the target location for their safety.
