Local factions join Russia against Islamic State in as-Suwayda; National Liberation Front arrests promoters of reconciliation with Syrian government in Hama

On Sunday, local factions in the as-Suwayda governorate, Southern Syria agreed to join Russia’s and the Fourth Division of the Syrian government forces’ military campaign against the Islamic State (IS)
The Syrian government forces forced 250 youths from cities and towns of Eastern Ghouta to compulsory recruitment. The Syrian government forces refused to prolong the reconciliation documents for 500 other youths in mandatory favor of recruitment.
Landmines and bombs explosions killed three civilians in the Daraa governorate, Southern Syria. The mines and bombs are remains of battles between IS, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), and the Syrian government forces.
The head of the Military Security Branch of the Syrian government forces in Daraa held a meeting with commanders of local factions that was in the FSA.
On Sunday, the National Liberation Front (NFL) arrested 45 people in the Northern Hama countryside. The National Liberation Front accused the detainees of promoting reconciliation with the Syrian government’s forces and meeting Syrian government’ and Russian officials.
On Saturday, six prisoners escaped a prison that belongs to the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the city of Idlib. Five of the prisoners were IS’ members, and the sixth was a member of the Jund al-Aqsa faction.
On Sunday, a Syrian government’ cluster bomb explosion killed a child in the Jisr ash-Shughur area,31 kilometers west of Idlib, Northern Syria. Another blast in the area injured three civilians.
Captain Naji al-Mustafa, the official spokesperson for the National Liberation Front, said that they held talks with commanders of opposition military factions in Idlib to integrate the entire factions into one entity.
The local council in the city of Akhtarin,35 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria started a project to distribute gas bottles for free across 450 families for six months under an understanding agreement with the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Work Center.
Initial Response Team removed ten bodies from under the rubble of destroyed buildings in the city of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.
Unknown shooters seized a vehicle of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units along with one million and eight hundred thousand American dollars near the village of Ain Issa, north of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.
Three hundred forcibly displaced people (FDP) left the al-Sad camp run by the Kurdish Autonomous Administration near the city of al-Shadadi, 50 kilometers south of al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria. The FDP headed to the towns of al-Busaira and al-Sour in the Deir-Ez-Zor countryside as well as to areas controlled by the Syrian government forces.
On Sunday, Syrian Human Rights Network documented 647 cases of arbitrary arrest in Syria. The Syrian government forces conducted four hundred nineteen of the arrests.
