Local and field updates:

On Sunday, Russian troops deployed to the crossings of the Mourek and al-Suqaylabiyah on the side controlled by the Syrian government forces in the Hama governorate, Central Syria.

A local source inside of the city of al-Suqaylabiyah reported that Russian troops deployed to a checkpoint of the Fourth Division of the Syrian government forces at the entrance of al-Suqaylabiyah. The checkpoint is located on the road that connects al-Suqaylabiyah to the city of Qal’at al-Madiq outside the Syrian government forces’ control.

On Saturday night and Sunday morning, a landmine explosion injured 15 civilians as attempted to cross the village of al-Tuwaina in the al-Ghab Plain area, 41 kilometers northwest of Hama, to areas controlled by the Syrian government forces.

The Syrian government forces impose fees on civilians and vehicles seeking to cross the Homs-Hama highway, which the civilians were trying to avoid when they were injured in the landmine explosion.

Local sources reported that the Syrian government forces established two checkpoints at the entrance of the city of al-Rastan in Homs and two others near the entrance of the city of Hama. The sources added that the Syrian government forces inspect the civilians and impose fees for allowing them to cross.

Local councils that belong to the Salvation Government operating in areas controlled by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Northern Syria condemned the Syrian government and its Russian allies’ continued massacres against civilians in the area.

On Sunday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested youths at temporary  checkpoints in Western al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria, for compulsory recruitment.

The People’s Municipality of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration confiscated three shops in the al-Sina’a neighborhood of the city of al-Tabaqa, west of al-Raqqa.

A bomb explosion at an SDF checkpoint in central al-Raqqa killed a member of the Syrian Democratic Council and injured a civilian.

The child’s parents reported that an unknown object exploded beneath their son when he was grazing cattle near the village, killing him instantly.
