Civil Defense members protest bombing service facilities in Northern Syria; Syrian government delays fighters’ evacuation from al-Rukban camp in Homs

On Tuesday, Civil Defense members organized sit-ins in the Idlib and Aleppo governorates, Northern Syria, to protest the Russian and Syrian government forces bombings on Civil Defense headquarters and hospitals.

Opposition military factions operating in Northern Syria said that they wait for details about the recent Russian-Turkish agreement on the Idlib governorate.

The high prices of rents in cities and towns, which are controlled by the Euphrates Shield Operation and Olive Branch Battle factions in Northern Aleppo affected forcibly displaced people’ (FDP) affordability and other FDP’ ability to hire houses, amid a recession in rental markets.

On Tuesday, Muhammad Hamadeen, the formal spokesperson for the National Syrian Army resigned. Hamadeen posted the statement of his resignation on his accounts on social media.

On Monday’s night and Tuesday’ s morning, the opposition faction Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) handed the al-Sham Legion faction a checkpoint after the HTS gained control of the checkpoint for hours in the Afrin area in Aleppo, Northern Syria.

A source, who is close to the al-Qaryatain Martyrs Brigade in the al-Rukban camp near the Jordanian border, 237 kilometers southeast of Homs, reported that the Syrian government forces delay the brigade’s fighters evacuation along with civilians for Northern Syria.

The Islamic State (IS) hung the bodies of fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces ( SDF) on the entrance of the town of al-Susa, 118 kilometers east of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria. The IS killed the SDF fighters in clashes in the area.

Food trucks entered areas controlled by the IS in the Deir al-Zor governorates, Eastern Syria. The trucks entered through crossings, which the SDF supervise in the area.

Russian troops listened to civilians’ and Free Syrian Army (FSA)  commanders’ complaints in the city of Nawa,25 kilometers north of Daraa, Southern Syria.

A source reported that two days ago,  the Russian troops entered Nawa suddenly and listened to stories of arrests and encroachments, which the Syrian government forces commit.

The Syrian government forces released a girl from the city of Daraa after a day of arrest as an FSA commander threatened to stir demonstrations to demand the girl's release.

In recent weeks, the prices of rents scored a remarkable increase in the city of al-Tal, which is controlled by the Syrian government forces in Rif Dimashq, forcing the FDP to return to their nearby cities and towns.

Political and international updates:

 

On Monday,  Israel claimed responsibility for bombing Syrian government forces outposts in the Latakia governorates, Western Syria. Israel held the Syrian government responsibility for shooting down the Russian warplane killing Russian soldiers.

On Tuesday, Russian Defense Ministry stated that Israel's irresponsible acts caused the killing of 15 Russian soldiers on board a warplane that the Syrian government aerial defense systems brought shot down.  

On Tuesday, Turkish Defense Ministry stated that Turkey would continue their military activities in Idlib, in coordination with Russia following the recent agreement that Turkey and Russia reached on the fate of the area.
