FSA and HTS infight in Southern Idlib; Autonomous Administration arrests press reporter in al-Hasakah

Clashes erupted between the Hayt Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and National Liberation Front (NLF) belonging to the Free Syrian Army near the town of Jarjanaz, southern Idlib, Northern Syria.

A local source reported that clashes using heavy machine guns and light weapons erupted between the HTS and Suqour al-Sham Brigades belonging to the NLF at the crossroad of al-Ghadfa, Talminis, Jarjanaz, and al-Haraki towns.

On Monday, the Free Police station in the town of al-Tamani’a, Southern Idlib, Northern Syria, resumed work after 20 months of suspension.

Heads of local councils in the Eastern Idlib countryside held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish IHH relief group to discuss improvements in the services provided for the residents in the area.

On Tuesday, the Free Police raided the tent of a forcibly displaced activist from the al-Yarmouk camp, Southern Damascus, in the Deir Ballut camp near the city of Afrin in Aleppo, Northern Syria. The police accused the activist of incitement against Turkey.

The Restabilization Committee held a conference titled First Conference of  Reconstructing Northern Syria, in the town of Akhtarin, 25 kilometers northeast of Aleppo, Northern Syria. The heads of local councils and civil society groups in the area attended the conference.

The Deir al-Zor Military Council belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) controlled 80 percent of the town of al-Susa near the city of al-Bukamal,120 kilometers southeast of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria.

On Tuesday, the International Coalition sent military reinforcements to the SDF in the Deir al-Zor governorate, Eastern Syria.

The Asayish security forces belonging to the Autonomous Administration arrested a reporter of a channel that opposes the Autonomous Administration’ policy, near the city of al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria.

The Syrian government began the rehabilitation of the al-Suwai’iya bridge connecting the town of al-Suwai’iya and city of al-Bukamal,1200 kilometers southeast of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, three years after International Coalition bombings destroyed the bridge.

The administrations of the al-Andalus and al-Buhturi elementary schools in al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria, separated the Kurdish and Arab students and dedicated different teachers for each group.

On Tuesday, a civilian, who was injured in a landmine explosion, died after a private hospital refused to treat him in the city of al-Raqqa, Northeastern Syria.

The prices of sugar increased in the city of Hama, Central Syria, controlled by the Syrian government due to the opening of the Nassib border crossing with Jordan.  

The Syrian government forces detained former FSA commanders on criminal charges in the Daraa governorate, Southern Syria.

The residents of the city of Jasim,43 kilometers north of Daraa, Southern Syria, complained about the spread of garbage in residential neighborhoods for a month, as the municipality council belonging to the Syrian government neglected the matter.
