Turkish soldier is killed and SDF fighters are injured in mutual shelling; SDF calls upon United States to impose no fly zone in Northeastern Syria

On Thursday, the Turkish Army and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) exchanged shelling near the city of Aleppo, Northern Syria. The Shelling killed a Turkish soldier and injured SDF fighters.

The SDF called upon the United States to impose a no-fly zone in Northeastern Syria to prevent Turkey from launching a military operation in areas east of the Euphrates river.

A motorcycle bomb explosion killed and injured 13 civilians in the city of Afrin near Aleppo.

Unknown shooters killed a Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighter in the city of al-Baba in Eastern Aleppo. The Syrian government forces shelled the Jam’iyat al-Zahraa area in Western Aleppo, injuring a fighter of the National Liberation Front (NLF)  

An initiative of forcibly displaced teachers in the Deir Ballout and al-Muhammadiyah camps in the Afrin area turned into a school that includes 300 students. The Turkish AFAD relief organization supported the school.

On Thursday, the prices of petrol increased by 50 percent in the city of Aleppo controlled by the Syrian government forces. The amount of gasoline decreased in the markets of the city.

The Syrian government forces launched a rocket, killing an NLF fighter and injuring two others near the village of al-Khowain in Southern Idlib, Northern Syria.  

The Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) accused doctors that it detains of corruption and impropriety. The HTS arrested the doctors in the city of Kafr Nabl, Southern Idlib.

The Free Idlib Health Directorate said that obstetrics hospitals in the governorate lack beds and incubators.  

Thousands of people demonstrated in cities controlled by the Autonomous Administration in Northeastern Syria. The demonstrators protested Turkish threats of launching a military operation east of the Euphrates river.

One thousand eight hundred forcibly displaced people (FDP) from areas in Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, arrived in the al-Houl camp, 70 kilometers south of al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria. The FDP fled battles between the SDF and Islamic State (IS).

On Friday, the SDF advanced against the IS in the al-Bukamal area, 120 kilometers southeast of Deir al-Zor.

The Syrian government forces arrested 14 youths near the city of Deir al-Zor, for compulsory recruitment.

Four bodies of fighters of the Iranian backed  Afghan Fatemiyoun militia arrived in the field hospital in the city of al-Bukamal.

The FSA’ al-Rahman Legion, which was operating in Eastern Ghouta, said that the aim of the death sentences that the Syrian government issued against factions’ commanders and media activists is to jammer on thousands of lawsuits filed against the Syrian government and its violations against the detainees.

The residents of the city of Daraa, Southern Syria, complained about little amounts of bread available in bakeries after the Syrian government closed two bakeries in the city.

The residents of the al-Suwayda governorate, Southern Syria, complained about poor sewage network in some areas of the governorate.
