Free Syrian Army and SDF clash in Northern Aleppo; Meeting is expected between Erdogan and Putin to discuss US forces withdrawal from Syria

Clashes erupted between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the city of Azaz in Northern Aleppo, Northern Syria, without any injuries.
The spokesperson for the Democratic Society Movement, which is the prominent component of the Autonomous Administration, stated that the aim of the negotiations with the Syrian government about deploying the Syrian government forces along the Turkish border is to prevent Turkey from launching its potential attack on the area.
The SDF's Manbij Military Council said that the Syrian government forces’ deployment to the town of al-’Arima in Eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria, is not new, as the Syrian government forces fortified their outposts in the town and on its perimeter following the political and military developments in the area.
The FSA emphasized that it will gain control of the city of Manbij and surrounding villages controlled by the SDF in Eastern Aleppo, and will not allow any other military force to enter the area.

On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he is likely to meet his Russian Counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss the United States forces withdrawal from Syria.
Erdogan told journalists that a Turkish delegation would visit Moscow soon to prepare an expected meeting between Erdogan and Putin, according to Anadolu News Agency.
Earlier on Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavochoglu stated that he would visit Moscow in the coming days to discuss the US forces withdrawal from Syria.
