Israel shells military sites in Syria and Russia demands Syrian government to seize areas that US forces are leaving

On Wednesday, the Syrian government media said that Israel targeted unidentified military sites near the Syrian capital Damascus, killing an officer and three Syrian government forces members.

A Turkish and Free Syrian Army (FSA) military convoy), in addition to 400, fighters headed to the city of Manbij controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Eastern Aleppo, Northern Syria.

A health center administration in the city of Kafr Nubl, 36 kilometers south of Idlib,  Northern Syria, said that lack of support threatened the center to be closed and deprive four thousand people of its services per month.

The Civil Defense Center in the city of Ma'arat al-Nu'man concluded a training course for 20 volunteers. The training course lasted 10 days during which the trainers received training in fire, rescue and ambulance operations.

The Incite believers Islamic faction attacked sites held by the Syrian government forces, in Northern Latakia, killing and wounding Syrian government forces members.

The price of a barrel of diesel fuel reached five thousand Syrian pounds in the towns outside the control of the Syrian government, in Northern Hama, Central Syria, as Turkey threatens to launch a military operation against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the city of Manbij, in Aleppo, Northern Syria.

The prices of gas cylinders doubled in the city of Hama, Central Syria, amidst a severe gas crisis in areas controlled by the Syrian government.

Residents of the cities and towns of Northern Homs complained about delayed distribution of the diesel fuel by the Syrian government, despite the coming of winter, with the increase of hours of rationing of electricity, and the interruption of long hours.

Five people died of road accidents on the international road near the city of al-Rastan, 21 kilometers Northern Homs, in Central Syria, because there is no pedestrian bridge connecting the two ends of the road.

Local factions in the governorate of Suweida announced their unity within a single military formation to counter the threats of the Syrian government to arrest those who were behind forced recruitment and to withdraw the factions 'weapons in the governorate.

Political and international updates:

On Wednesday, Russia demanded the Syrian government forces seize the areas from which US forces will withdraw in Syria.

The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova asked, “ Who will control the areas that the Americans are leaving? It is clear that is the Syrian government forces will control these under international law.”

An Iraqi official said that the US military established two new military bases in the al-Anbar province in Western Iraq near the Syrian border.

On Tuesday, the Turkish Anadolu Agency quoted a member of the al-Anbar Provincial Council, Farhan al-Dulaimi as saying, the US military established the first base north of Nahiyat al-Romaneh and the second east of the city of al-Rutba, about 100 kilometers away from the Deir al-Zor governorate in Eastern Syria.
