Infight between al-Zinki Movement and HTS kills and injures civilians in Western Aleppo and HTS seizes control of strategic mountain

On Tuesday, infight between the Nureddin al-Zinki Movement of the National Liberation Front (NLF), and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) killed two civilians and injured others in Western Aleppo, Northern Syria.

On Tuesday, the HTS seized control of the al-Sheikh Brakat near the city of Darat Izzah in Western Aleppo following clashes with the NLF. The NLF sent military reinforcement to support its fighters in the area.
The NLF said that the HTS attempts to exploit the incident of killing four HTS fighters in the village of Tal-’Ada in the Idlib governorate, Northern Syria, to expand its control on the expense of the NLF areas in Western Aleppo.
The HTS said that its disagreement is only with the al-Zinki movement and that it will not attack the rest of the NLF factions in Western Aleppo.
