Clashes between HTS and NLF injure civilians in Aleppo; HTS seizes neighborhood in Darat Izzah city

On Tuesday, the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) seized a neighborhood west in the city of Darat Izzah in Western Aleppo, Northern Syria, after clashes with the National Liberation Front (NLF). The HTS launched an arrest campaign in the neighborhood.

The HTS killed a civilian and injured another in a shooting, and arrested three others in the city of Darat Izzah. Local activists reported that the HTS deliberately shot the man Ayham al-Ludaimi for unknown reasons after seizing a western neighborhood in the city after clashes with the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement of the NLF.

On Wednesday, clashes between the HTS and the NLF injured civilians in the village of Khan al-Asal (10 kilometers west of Aleppo).

Local activists reported that intermittent clashes broke out between the two parties using light and medium weapons and heavy machine guns, injuring three civilians. The wounded were transferred to the hospital in the village of al-Hour.

On Tuesday, a shooting by HTS snipers killed a child and injured four civilians in Western Aleppo.

Local activists reported that stray bullets during the clashes between the HTS and NLF killed the child Zakariya Kanas on the outskirts of the town of Khan al-Asal.

Clashes between the HTS and the NLF obstructed the Civil Defense’s ability to evacuate nurses and newborn babies from the Paradise Hospital in the city of Darat Izzah near Aleppo.

A source reported that the hospital is located in a neighborhood that was seized by the HTS. The al-Zenki Movement intensively shells the neighborhood with heavy machine guns.

The administration of the only health center in the city of Mourek, 27 kilometers north of Hama, Central Syria, said that the lack of support threatens the center to shut down and deprive 20 thousand people of its services.

Tareq Kassem, the medical director of the center, said that the center suffers from a severe lack of medicine, logistical and medical equipment, including echo, electrocardiography (EEG) and children's scales.

Iraqi militias released a civilian from the village of al-Harri of the Albukamal city, 120 kilometers southeast of Deir al-Zor, Eastern Syria, after three days of detention on charges of supporting the Islamic State (IS).

The Syrian government forces arrested a young man and his mother from the city of Nawa in the Daraa governorate, Southern Syria, when they were in Damascus. They also arrested another young man from the town of Tal Shehab on unknown charges.

The Kurdistan National Conference, which includes Kurdish parties in Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, held a meeting in the city of al-Qamishli in the countryside of al-Hasakah to unify the vision of all parties and their positions towards the Turkish threats.
