Field and local developments:

The Syrian government said that the International Coalition targeted its forces’ bases in the vicinity of their second station "T2" near the border with Iraq, in the Deir ez-Zor desert, Eastern Syria. However, the spokesman for the United States Central Command, Bill Urban, denied the attack.

Urban told Reuters, "We have no news of a strike by the U.S.-led International Coalition against targets or forces loyal to the Syrian government."

Activists reported that the Islamic State ambushed a military convoy of the Syrian government forces heading towards Eastern Deir ez-Zor, killing dozens of the government forces and capturing about 50 of them. Pro-Syrian government media reported that its forces responded to an ISIS attack on their bases in the desert of Mayadeen and that the forces killed more than ten ISIS members.

In Deir ez-Zor, activists told SMART that residents of the village of Hawija captured five members of the government forces while they were stealing 150 sheep and 12 cows from the village. The residents made an agreement with other members of the government forces to exchange the prisoners with the stolen livestock.

A Syrian government military column returned to its Ninth Division bases in Daraa, after participating in the battles for Eastern Ghouta, the al-Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees and the district of al-Hajar al-Aswad.

The Syrian government forces launched a major campaign to confiscate dozens of civilians' motorcycles in their controlled areas Hama, Central Syria, despite the civilians' permits.

On Wednesday, the Asayish security forces of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration arrested four people riding motorcycles from al-Badiya, south of the town of al-Mansoura in al-Raqqa, Northern Syria. The Asayish forces seized 8 kilograms of powdered drugs and 350 pills from the motorcyclists.

Activists reported that skin diseases have spread dramatically in the Khawari area in Eastern Idlib near Southern Aleppo due to the increase of flies and mosquitoes, which is linked to the lack of pesticides in the region. A center has received 155 people with leishmania.

The head of the local council in the city of Girgnaz in Idlib said that thousands of internally displaced persons have returned to their homes and villages in the region after Turkey established observation bases at Tal Touqan and al-Sarman. There are about 650 displaced families from Rif Dimashq in the city.
