Idlib, Syria, Apr. 28, 2017. Suspected Russian warplanes target the town of Sarmin, eastern Idlib, Northern Syria, killing a woman and injuring several civilians, including children, and Civil Defense members. The airstrike came at around 02:00 AM on Friday, after similar airstrikes targeted several cities, towns, and villages in southern Idlib on Thursday, killing and injuring more than 53 civilians, and destroying two medical centers. The Syrian government forces, backed by Russian warplanes, target the towns and cities of the Idlib governorate, which is mostly controlled by the Free Syrian Army factions and Islamist battalions, with all kinds of weapons, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.
