Feb. 26, 2018, dozens of civilians set a checkpoint of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) on fire in the perimeter of Kafr Nubl, Eastern Idlib, Northern Syria, after the HTS fighters fled the checkpoint.
Dozens of civilians headed to the checkpoint after a protest against HTS. Protestors walked the streets of Kafr Nubl and shouted against HTS and its leader, Aby Muhammad Al Julani.
During the past two days, hundreds of civilians protested against HTS in several cities and towns of Idlib after the HTS besieged the town of Hazano and targeted the town with artillery shells. People of Hazano prohibited HTS from entering the town to neutralize it from the fight between HTS and the Syrian Liberation Front, which killed several civilians.
