Afrin, Syria, Apr. 2, 2018. Groups from the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Turkish officers sweep the mountain areas surrounding Nahiyat Raju, west of Afrin, Northern Aleppo, Northern Syria, after Turkish warplanes targeted fighters of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG). A source close to the Olive Branch Operation factions said that the Turkish warplanes spotted a gathering of 60 YPG fighters near the village of Dagh Obassi in the mountain areas surrounding Raju. The warplanes targeted the fighters and killed 28 of them, according to Turkish forces. Earlier, seven civilians were killed in the explosion of a landmine planted by the YPG near the village of Fafin in Nahiyat Azaz. Characters: FSA fighters.
