Southern Damascus, Syria, Apr. 28, 2018. The displaced people of the Yarmouk refugee camp and the districts of al-Tadamun and al-Hajar al-Aswad suffer in harsh conditions due to the lack of support by relief and humanitarian organizations in the towns of Yalda, Babila and Bait Sahm in Southern Damascus. After Russia and the loyalist forces' military escalation in Southern Damascus, many civilians fled from the Islamic State-controlled areas to these towns. The towns of Southern Damascus lack basic services and food supplies, and the price of fuel and goods has increased by 20 percent after the loyalist forces closed the Babila-Sidi Miqdad crossing. The besieged civilians in these areas suffer from the declining humanitarian situation. Medical centers and the Civil Defense center were earlier forced to shut down. Characters by appearance: 1 - A civilian from Babila. 2 - A displaced woman from the al-Tadamun district.
