Idlib, Syria, Nov. 15, 2018. Forcibly displaced people (FDP) in the city of Saraqib, Eastern Idlib, Northern Syria, hold their first conference in Ebla University to form a committee to represent them and to claim their rights. Basam Sahyouni, head of the foundational board of the Salvation Government, which operates in the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham-controlled areas, said that the conference aims to confirm the FDP's right to return to their homes after the Syrian government forces displaced them from them. The conference also seeks to form a local committee to gather the FDP, speak on their behalf, and claim their rights. Many FDP resides now in the areas outside the Syrian government control. The Syrian government forces signed agreements with the opposition and Islamist factions in several governorates and displaced many people after from their homes.
