Al-Raqqa, Syria, Nov. 28, 2018. The Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) organizes a conference that gathered political and military figures from Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)-controlled areas and Syrian government forces-controlled areas to discuss Syrian affairs. Ibrahim Qatfan, president of the Suria al-Mustaqbal Party operating in SDF-controlled areas, said that the conference aims to find a diplomatic solution in Syria from inside it, accusing the National Coalition of the Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces of following a foreign agenda. The conference came after the General Council of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration announced forming the Kurdish Autonomous Administration in Northern and Eastern Syria and assigned its executive committee. The conference also followed two talk sessions between the SDC and the Syrian government in Damascus.
