Al-Hasakah, Syria, Dec. 9, 2018. A residential house collapses and six other buildings crack, as a landslide occurred in the city of Ras al-Ayn, Northern al-Hasakah, Northeastern Syria. Abdul Aziz Ausi, a technical expert for the People's Municipality of the Autonomous Administration, said that the landslide occurred due to the random channeling of groundwater for years. In the town of al-Yaarobiyah, Northeastern al-Hasakah, floods that were formed by heavy rainfall collapsed two bridges and blocked several roads, while the heavy rain and floods damaged farmlands, animal barns, and residential houses in the Amuda area during the past days.
