Al-Hasakah, Syria, Jan. 23, 2019. The Health Authority of the Kurdish Autonomous Administration opens a dispensary serving about 20 villages in the al-Houl area, southern al-Hasakah, Northern Syria. The doctor in the dispensary, Diyar Rasho, said that they opened the dispensary in the town of al-Houl due to the poverty of the area and the poor health sector in it, forcing residents to travel more than 50 kilometers to reach the hospitals of al-Hasakah. Civilians in several areas of the al-Hasakah governorate complained about poor public hospitals and high costs of private hospitals, causing negatively affect on the lives of children.
