Idlib, Syria, Jan. 15, 2020. The Syrian government forces commit a massacre in the city of Idlib, Northern Syria, after their warplanes launched airstrikes on the city. The airstrikes killed and injured about 80 people. The head of the documentation and information department of a hospital in Idlib, Abdul Razzaq Ghafir, said that the Syrian government warplanes shelled the Industrial area in eastern Idlib. Ghafir added that the shelling killed 15 civilians, including seven unknown people and children, and injured 65 others, including children and women, at an early count. Last night, the Russian warplanes returned to shell the cities, towns and villages in Idlib governorate, for the first time after the truce agreed between Russia and Turkey in the governorate. The Turkish Defense Ministry announced a ceasefire in the Idlib governorate starting from Jan. 12, 2020.
