Aleppo, Syria, Feb. 14, 2020. The Turkish Army shot down a Syrian government forces helicopter in western Aleppo, Northern Syria. Military sources said that the Turkish forces targeted the helicopter, which was flying over the village of Qabtan al-Jabal, with an anti-aircraft missile from the al-Qasmiah base. Eyewitnesses said that the remnants of the helicopter fell near the village of al-Saloum and the three Syrian government forces members inside the helicopter were burned to death. Earlier on Tuesday, the Turkish Army shot down another Syrian government helicopter while it was flying over the village of al-Nayrab, eastern Idlib, with a Stinger man-portable missile.
