Idlib, Syria, April 3, 2020. About 15 displaced families from the city of Maarrat al-Nu'man reside in a damaged school in the city of Binnish, eastern Idlib, Northern Syria. They had to sell their home furniture because they are unable to provide their basic needs. Fatima Al-Younis said that the school is destroyed, and that the displaced people living in the school sell their furniture to provide the needs for their families because they do not have a job. Abdul Aziz al-Salloum said that he was displaced nine months ago to the camps and as a result of the storms he resorted to the school even though it is uninhabitable. The residents of camps in Northern Syria suffer from poor conditions and lack of services. They appealed to humanitarian organizations and local councils to ease their suffering and provide vaccines, medicines and heaters, but they have not received a response. The suffering increases with the advent of winter, as rain flooded several camps.
