Aleppo, Syria, Apr. 22, 2020. The students Tasneem and Inas Idris watch a lesson on a mobile phone at home in the city of Azaz, Northern Aleppo, Northern Syria. Teachers try to apply distance-education methods in areas outside of the Syrian government forces’ control, Northern Syria, in order not to prevent children from education, especially after closing schools as a precautionary procedure against coronavirus (COVID-19). The teachers tried distance-education despite the lack of major factors, most importantly power and internet, and the lack of equipment, which creates difficulties in delivering information for the children.
