Salvation Government in Idlib releases student Fatima Idris
Idlib - SMART
On Wednesday, the Salvation Government released the student at the University of Idlib, Northern Syria, Fatima Idris, who has been detained for about two weeks.
In a video for SMART, Idris criticized cadres at the University of Idlib, especially the Media Institute, where she studies. She also accused the University of corruption. Therefore, the security services of the Salvation Government arrested her without explaining the reasons.
Idris declined to state SMART about the reasons and conditions of her arrest and her release.
Last October, a founding committee formed the Salvation Government. This committee was built at a meeting called the Syrian General Conference. It runs civil affairs in areas controlled by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
