Aleppo - SMART

Activists and military leaders from the town of Tal Rifaat (29 kilometers north of Aleppo) called for a meeting to discuss the fate of the city, which is still controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Activists circulated a voice recording of a leader from the city of Tal Rifaat, Abu Ali. He says in the record that the public authority of Tal Rifaat will meet in the city of al-Bab on Wednesday to discuss the fate of the city.

The leader stated that this meeting will not only be a drug but will discuss the fate of the city of Tal Rifaat. He called on all civilians, soldiers, representatives of organizations and those concerned in the city to attend the meeting at the headquarters of the authority south of the Sajo garage in the city of al-Bab.

During the last period, the fate of the city of Tal Rifaat was ambiguous especially after the Olive Branch Operation, led by Turkey, ended. During the operation, Turkey gained control of the whole area of Afrin, but stopped at the outskirts of the city of Tal Rifaat, amid demonstrations that demand Turkey to complete the battle to return the people to their city.
