Unknown gunmen kill fighters of Hayat Tahrir al- Sham and Free Syrian Army in Aleppo
On Tuesday, unknown gunmen killed two Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) fighters and a Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighter in the Aleppo governorate, Northern Syria.
Activists reported that two unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire at and killed two HTS fighters on a road in Abian Sam’an town, 37 kilometers west of Aleppo.
The activists added that unknown gunmen killed the al-Sultan Murad Division of the FSA fighter in Ahtimilat town, 40 kilometers north of Aleppo.
On June 24, 2018, unknown gunmen killed Abu Omar Tafkhikh, who is a HTS deputy official of explosives, on the road of al-Sheikh Ali village in the west of Aleppo.
Security turmoil, explosions, and assassinations hit areas controlled by the FSA and Islamist factions in the Idlib and Aleppo governorates, Northern Syria. The assassinations and explosions targeted military commanders and fighters, but killed and injured civilians as well.
