Aleppo - SMART

On Monday night, a Syrian government forces artillery shelling on a village in Southern Aleppo, Northern Syria, killed a child and injured another.

Local activists said that the Syrian government forces targeted the village of Barnah, Southern Aleppo, with heavy artillery shells from Syrian government forces' locations in the Shaghidlah Dam area, killing a child, Marwah Shlash, and injured her sister, Raghad Shlash.

On Thursday, a Syrian government forces artillery shelling on the town of Jazraya injured one man and one woman, displacing the town's residents.

The Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Syrian government forces continue to bomb each other and populated areas in the Western and Southern Aleppo countryside, killing civilians, as the FSA and the Islamist battalions blocked several Syrian government forces' attempts to advance in the area.
