SNHR documents killing, injuries and detention of eight media workers in Syria during one month

On Tuesday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented the killing of two media workers, the injuries of three, and the detention and kidnapping of three others during November 2018. The SNHR documented the killing of 24 media workers since the beginning of 2018.
The SNHR is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization, founded in June 2011, that monitors the Syrian Civil War. It is committed to all international criteria and declarations. SNHR aims to document human rights violations in Syria and to defend Syrian human rights in front of international forums and bodies.
The SNHR mentioned in its report published on its official website that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham killed two media workers in November, while other parties injured two others.
The report also documented that opposition faction and the HTS detained two media workers, while an unknown party kidnapped one media worker.
Earlier, the SNHR documented the killing of 24 media workers since the beginning of 2018, most of them were killed in March 2018.
On Monday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented that at least 529 people were arbitrarily arrested in Syria last November; the Syrian government forces arrested 70 percent of them. The SNHR also documented more than seven thousand arrests since the beginning of 2018.
Out of 180 countries, Syrian took the 177th place in the 2018 World Press Freedom Index of the Reporters without Borders, followed by Turkmenistan, Eritrea, and North Korea.
