Jaysh al-Ezzah defeats Syrian government forces attempt to advance to Western Hama

On Wednesday, Jaysh al-Ezzah fighters of the Free Syrian Army defeated a Syrian government forces attempt to advance to the village of Hasraiya in Western Hama, Central Syria.
The Jaysh al-Ezza is a military faction in the Free Syrian Army. The faction operates mainly in Hama, Central Syria.
The Jaysh al-Ezzah media office reported that Syrian government forces members tried to infiltrate the village, but the Jaysh al-Ezzah fighters defeated them, killing and injuring members of their ranks.
At the same time, the Syrian government forces stationed in the village of al-Jabain shelled the village using tanks and heavy machine guns, according to activists.
Local activists said that the Syrian government forces stationed in the village of Shaliout and the Bredij camp shelled the villages of al-Zakat and Tal Sakher, Northern Hama. The Syrian government forces stationed in the village of al-Jabain also shelled the vicinity of the al-Arbaeen village.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Jaysh al-Ezzah announced that it killed 30 Syrian government forces members after its fighters attacked the Syrian government forces' checkpoint in the village of al-Masasinah.
The Western Hama countryside and adjacent Idlib governorate are included in the demilitarization agreement that the Russian and Turkish presidents reached in the Russian city of Sochi, Russia, in September 2018.
