Ali Mamlouk visits Egypt at official invitation

On Sunday, the Syrian government forces media and the Egyptian media announced that Ali Mamluk, the head of the national security office in the intelligence of the Syrian government, visited Egypt at the official invitation of the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Abbas Kamel.
The media said that the visit was on December 22, 2018, noting that they held a bilateral meeting to discuss various issues of common concern, including political and security issues and the efforts to combat terrorism, without any other additions.
Mamluk is a prominent figure in the ٍSyrian government that has chaired several negotiations with leaders of military factions and the dignitaries of the Syrian regions over agreements.
In November 2018, the French judicial system issued international arresting warrants for three major Syrian intelligence officers, including Mamlouk, who is considered the official director of most of the Syrian government's security directorates.
