Unknown shooters kill and injure Free Police members in Northern Aleppo

On Sunday, unknown shooters killed and injured eight members of the Free Police and General Security Forces at a checkpoint in the village of Suran, 31 kilometers north of Aleppo, Northern Syria.
Local activists reported that on Sunday night, three unknown shooters on a motorcycle attacked a checkpoint of the Free Police and General Security Forces, killing three members and injuring five others. The source added that one of the shooters was killed and the rest escaped.
On December 11, 2018, unknown shooters killed a member of the Free Police and General Security Forces in the Afrin area in Northern Aleppo.
On December 13, 2018, the military police of the Syrian Interim Government tightened the security measures in Northern Aleppo following explosions in the area.
Explosions and assassinations are frequent in areas controlled by the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch operations' factions in Northern and Eastern Aleppo, killing and injuring dozens of civilians and Free Syrian Army (FSA) commanders and fighters. The FSA accuses the Islamic State and Syrian Democratic Forces of plotting the explosions.
